We treat our students as individuals. During a course of study we aim to equip them with more than just professional know-how, but also with the social competence to evolve as people. As a university of applied sciences we place value on practical training. Project based study and work placements are an important element of all our courses.
With this combination of practical, professional and social skills our graduates are highly sought after in the job market: Nearly 90 percent find employment shortly after graduation, establish a business or commit to further studies.
The university introduced system accreditation between 2018 and 2021. As part of this, we developed our own quality management system (QMS) to safeguard and further develop our degree programs. Once the implementation process is complete, the university will be in a position to accredit its own degree programs in accordance with legal requirements We were supported in the process by the evaluation agency Evalag and outstanding experts from other universities. At the end of the summer semester 2021, Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg will be a system-accredited university. The system accreditation is valid until September 30, 2027.
