The goal of the Industrial placement is to use your – depending on your degree program – business and/or engineering skills in a practical environment (see module catalogue). Therefore, it is important that your direct supervisor in the company has adequate academical education.

It is not of essence whether you only work on one project/topic or several over the course of your internship.

An Internship abroad is possible in all courses of studies (EIT, ME) and for students of "International Management and Engineering" even compulsory (but can be replaced by a semester abroad). Internships abroad are always reviewed by the Internship Commissioner.

If you have any questions or doubts regaring the approval of your Internship position, please contact the Internship Commissioner rather early than late.
