The elective modules are regulated in the version of the syllabus and examination regulations (Studien- und Prüfungsordnung SPO) applicable to you.

SPO Mechatronics 2024

Students of the SPO Mechatronics 20242 have to take required elective modules to the amount of 65 CP, of which

• 30-40 CP have to be focus-specific required elective modules
• 25-35 CP have to be technical required elective modules
• 0-5 CP have to be general required elective modules (allgemeinwissenschaftliche Wahlpflichtmodule "AW-Fächer")

SPO Mechatronics 2018

Students of the SPO Mechatronics 20182 have to

• complete modules to the amount of 73 CP to 97 CP from the modules catalougue for advanced studies
• complete modules to the amount of 8 CP to 32 CP. Out of this, up to 4 CP can be awarded through "AW-Fächer".

Optionally, you can be awarded a certificate for one of the following areas of specialization if you attend the modules of the advanced studies and required electives according to the specifications of the certificate-SPO:

• Robotics and Production Engineering (RP)
• Mobility (M)
