Prof. Dr. Lásló Kovács

Professor László Kovács is vice-president of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg (TUA). He is a professor of Applied Ethics, offering courses especially on Ethics in Business, Ethics in Life Sciences, and AI-Ethics. He previously served as a senior researcher at the Chair for Ethics in Life Sciences at the University of Tübingen. At the TUA, he initiated a research group on the Ethics of eHealth apps, cooperating with the University Hospital of Freiburg and the University Hospital of Basel. Since 2023, he has been one of the coordinators of the Digitalisierungskolleg of the TUA. His research focuses on the Ethics of Life Sciences, AI-Ethics, and Ethics of Robotic-Human-Interaction. He is a corresponding member of the Pontifical Academy for Life (Rome) and an external member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
