Prof. Dr. Wedekind

Professor Max Wedekind was the International Faculty Coordinator of the Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering until October 2025. In this position, his goal was to build bridges and strengthen the international network in terms of student exchange and research activities. His industrial and scientific work focuses on the design and analysis of composite and hybrid structures for aerospace applications. Previously, he worked at Airbus in the field of rotor development and analysis. In addition to his research and industrial activities, he is dedicated to educating students and supporting continuing professional development.
