Description Optimized transportation logistics: Using our freight measurement system, we help (general cargo) freight forwarders improve their package master data and use this data to automate the scheduling process.
Functional
Description Cameras capture the packages as they are unloaded at a freight forwarder’s transshipment facility. Our cargo measurement system calculates the dimensions of these packages and records additional data, such as hazardous materials labels. Once this package data is transmitted to the customer’s system and combined with the customer’s route and shipment data, automated dispatch takes place.

Through the unique combination of cargo measurement and automated dispatch planning, aluco reduces the planning effort and time required by general cargo freight forwarders. This makes business processes more efficient and increases value creation within the company. It also makes a significant contribution to the digitization and sustainability strategies of transportation companies.
Who We Are
Our team consists of Saskia, Franzi, and Adrian. Saskia earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at a university in business administration and human resources management. Franzi studied computer science at a university for her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and Adrian also successfully completed his bachelor’s degree in “international industrial engineering” at a university. We believe that logistics shapes all aspects of life, and our goal is to shape these aspects sustainably for future generations.
What we need/are looking for, what interests
us We’re looking for more interested computer scientists (including students) who are eager to apply their creativity and technical expertise in a startup. We’d also like to offer mandatory internships for students. We’re always open to exciting conversations, so feel free to contact us anytime!
