Description: Our platform enables customers to use a variety of public cloud providers simultaneously and in a standardized manner for their AI applications.
Functional Description
: Through our platform, developers of AI applications can define their tasks—such as data preprocessing and training AI models—in a standardized way. Our software then automatically selects the best offer from a variety of public cloud providers based on the preferred hardware configuration and other criteria such as GDPR compliance or location. Our platform handles the setup of cloud accounts, the infrastructure used, and billing.
Benefits of the Idea (USP)
With our platform, companies no longer have to worry about the unavailability of hardware instances, managing cloud providers, or setting up infrastructure. By taking advantage of price differences between providers, we can save an average of 30% on cloud expenses and significantly reduce staffing costs.
Vision
We believe that multi-cloud is the future of cloud usage. However, our vision goes one step further: We want a cloud market with full transparency regarding prices and offerings. Through a unified approach, any offering from any provider can be used quickly and easily, different providers can be combined, and the strengths of each offering can thus be fully leveraged. At Perian, we’re working toward this very vision and are taking the cloud to the next level: Sky Computing.
Team
We are Christoph, Anselm, Omar, and Robin. Together, we have over 20 years of experience in the cloud and AI sectors, which we’ve gained at companies such as Google, AWS, and SAP.
