How it all began…
What started as a small gift from three daughters to their mom has brought us to where we are today. About four months after we were founded, having participated in four food festivals—including the Schmeckfestival in Augsburg—and handled three catering events, we’re now sharing our beloved Sri Lankan cuisine in Augsburg and the surrounding area. What’s still completely new territory for most people has become an indispensable part of life for those who’ve tried our food. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead and are excited to see where this journey takes us.

Our Menu
: In addition to delicious snacks like rolls (Sri Lankan-style spring rolls), vadai (lentil fritters with coconut chutney), pakora (deep-fried vegetables in chickpea batter), and much more, we also offer our traditional national dishes for those with a hearty appetite. From biryani—a rice dish with various curries—to kottu rotti (chopped flatbread), there’s something for everyone with an appetite. Of course, for those of you with a sweet tooth, we also offer light and fluffy mango cream, payasam, and pookai (sweet rice). If you’d like, you can even try some unique Sri Lankan cold and hot beverages. Curious? Then check out our photos below!

USP Philosophy
Hospitality and sharing food are deeply valued in Sri Lanka. It’s also very important to us that each of our guests feels at home here. That’s why we take the time to explain a bit about our food. Furthermore, each of our dishes is meticulously prepared and handmade, as we place great value on fresh ingredients. If you’ve ever been to Sri Lanka, we guarantee you’ll experience a moment of déjà vu. If you haven’t been to Sri Lanka yet, a visit to our booth will definitely transport you there for a moment.

Vision and Motivation
We want to show that there’s more to Indian cuisine than just “classic Indian” food. There are so many different subcultures and dishes—and Sri Lankan cuisine is no exception. With our mobile food trailer, we want to take this opportunity to raise awareness of Sri Lankan cuisine and introduce new flavors. Feel free to try your way through the menu.
