Optimisation of warehouse stocking

The project work dealt with the optimisation of warehouse processes at Media-Concept-Bürobedarf GmbH. It was motivated by the frequency of incidents in which articles could no longer be found in the location stored by the computer system due to errors during putaway and rebooking.

XITASO GmbH has two sites in Augsburg, between which the dedicated and sporty employees often commute on company bikes. In order to maintain a balance between supply and demand for the bikes, they were equipped with GPS trackers and sensors and the "XiTraX" project was launched.
