In the Physical AI program, you will learn how intelligent systems are developed and applied. You will combine computer science, engineering, and AI to solve real-world problems, for example, using autonomous robots or data-driven applications.
At the beginning, you will build a solid foundation in computer science, mathematics, and engineering fundamentals. Building on this, you will explore topics such as machine learning, intelligent algorithms, robotics, sensing, actuation, and embedded systems. A special focus is placed on programming robotic systems and using modern AI methods to accomplish complex tasks.
The program is designed to be practical and interdisciplinary. You will work on concrete problems, develop your own solutions, and learn to think systematically and analytically. Questions surrounding the responsible use of AI are also addressed in the courses.
Thanks to the wide range of applications such as in industry, logistics, mobility, healthcare, and service robotics, you will be able to quickly familiarize yourself with different fields of application.
In the later semesters, you will set your own focus areas. Through required elective modules (FWP), you can choose content that matches your interests and career goals. The course offerings are regularly updated and include topics from computer science, robotics, and related disciplines.
