We are rethinking Medical Technology!
- Interdisciplinary and future-oriented: Technological excellence is linked to medical relevance
- Innovative teaching methods: Real projects from day one are being accompanied by keynote lectures. We actively support independent learning. Assessment is competence-oriented instead of testing knowledge
- Medical subjects are integrated throughout from the first semester onwards and are a central part of your studies
- Medical English is directly integrated into lectures
- Basic courses impart theoretical knowledge in a targeted, practical and application-oriented manner

1 project – 1000 times Ah!

Tell me and I will forget. Show me and maybe I’ll remember. Let me do it, and I will keep it. (Konfuzius)
- One Practical Project serves as a common thread throughout the degree program: From idea to implementation, it covers
- application-oriented learning
- teamwork for collectively developing innovative solutions
- deepening and transfer to build new skills and apply them in practice
- understanding processes in product developement in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines
- An industrial internship during the practical semester will provide direct insight into the Medical Engineering industry
- Innovative topics can be scientifically discussed in the bachelor’s thesis – both in the industry and at Augsburg TUAS
