Residential complexes and parent-child apartments
The Augsburg Student Union provides six student residences with over 1,800 spaces throughout the city of Augsburg. Two of these offer special housing units for students with children:
- Residential complex in the Prinz-Karl-Viertel: 3 parent-child apartments, each with 67 square meters
- Residential complex in Bürgermeister-Ulrich-Straße: 3 parent-child apartments, each with 57 square meters
Applications for an apartment from pregnant women or students with children are considered hardship cases and will be given preferential treatment.

Further regulations:
- Only one parent needs to be enrolled.
- The non-student’s income may not exceed the BAföG maximum rate.
- There is no age limit for the child.
