The Business Informatics division of Fraunhofer FIT is distinguished by its techno-economic perspective on issues related to digitalization, with a strong focus on business administration. The division develops innovative solutions to specific problems that consistently integrate all levels of enterprise architecture. It also provides impetus for digitalization strategies and transformative change processes within companies. Its distinctive features include expertise at the intersection of financial management, information management, and business informatics, as well as the ability to combine methodological expertise at the highest scientific level with a customer-, goal-, and solution-oriented approach.
As part of the Bavarian High-Tech Agenda, the Augsburg AI Production Network was launched in the fall of 2020. By leveraging the diverse possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI), the manufacturing sector in the Augsburg economic region aims to remain competitive and prepare for the future.
