Security for the Economy. Safeguarding Investments for the Long Term.

The Institute for Innovative Security at THA supports organizations of all sizes in operating safely and sustainably in an interconnected world.

Institute for Innovative Security (THA_innos)

The innovative approaches of the Institute for Innovative Safety and Security (THA_innos) make systems, products, and personnel resilient to digital threats to the economy and society. To this end, THA_innos combines scientific expertise with a deep understanding of real-world challenges, thereby generating valuable know-how. This enables THA_innos to design, implement, and evaluate innovative security solutions for systems and products—in close cooperation with the institute’s partners.

THA_innos directly applies the insights gained to the education and training of today’s and tomorrow’s security experts. In addition, the institute fosters security awareness in society by networking with stakeholders from academia, industry, and politics.

THA_innos was founded in 2017.

Collaboration

The Institute for Innovative Safety and Security always collaborates with companies based on individual agreements. As a result, these collaborations are tailored to the companies’ specific needs and goals. There are essentially three forms of collaboration: workshops, industry-sponsored projects, and publicly funded research within a consortium.

For technical inquiries, the THA_innos team is happy to assist you directly. The Institute for Technology and Knowledge Transfer (ITW) will answer any other questions you may have regarding collaboration opportunities with THA.
