In this Workshop we will learn how to create functional and imaginative vehicle designs for the entertainment industry. Participants learn how to design convincing assets using a creative method that is suitable for the practice. Scenographic design methods are used to visualize the functions, uses and traces of use. This results in credible objects that already tell a story in their appearance.

Organizational Notes for Lecturers

Duration of the workshop should be at least 3 days (which corresponds to 2.5 CP). Every workshop must have a full attendance of students and a proper assessment, resulting in a grade (Kommanote).
Each workshop has a designated coordinator, a teaching professor or lecturer of IMS, who coordinates the workshop regarding time planning, communication, enrollment, grading and registration of grades.
Make sure that workshop dates do not overlap with other workshops. It is also preferable to select different week days and to include one Saturday to minimize collisions with weekly courses.
The coordinator determines the Prüfungsnummer in consultation with the PK Chair and communicates it to the workshop participants.
Each workshop lecturer will receive a list of participants and, after the workshop’s conclusion, will return it to the coordinator, with attendance confirmation and grades. The PK Chair will receive a copy. The current Prüfungsnummern are listed here: Glossar

Es sind Prüfungsleistungen vorzusehen. Es sind Kommanoten zu vergeben.
Zu jedem Workshop wird aus dem Kreise der Professoren bzw. fest angestellten Mitarbeiter eine verantwortliche Person benannt. Diese koordiniert den Workshop bezüglich Planung, Kommunikation, Einschreibung Durchführung, Abrechnung, Benotung und Eintrag ins Notensystem in Eigenregie und vollverantwortlich.
Terminüberschneidungen mit anderen Workshops sollten vermieden werden.
Belegte Wochentage sollen variieren.
Prüfungsnummern legen die Workshop-Verantwortlichen in Absprache mit dem PK-Vorsitzenden fest und gibt diese den WS-Teilnehmenden bekannt.
Jeder den Workshop durchführende Dozent erhält eine Teilnehmendenliste und gibt diese nach Abschluss des Workshops ergänzt durch Teilnahmebestätigung und Note an den WS-Verantwortlichen zurück. (digital und schriftlich) Der PK-Vorsitzende erhält eine Kopie.
