Students from Ukraine are strongly recommended to register with the immigration authorities and the AnKER Center - at the latest when they receive their admission to study. You can find more information about registration here: https://www.augsburg.de/ukraine/informationen-auf-englisch

As a refugee, you are entitled to social benefits in Germany. This also includes training costs within the framework of the so-called Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz (BAföG). You also have the opportunity to apply for various scholarships that are specifically aimed at refugees.

Augsburg University of Applied Sciences Encourages Students from Ukraine to Apply for the Master's Program International Business and Finance

Academic Advisor Prof. Dr. Thorsten Feix sends a message to people from Ukraine who might be interested in the Master's program International Business and Finance (M.A.). The faculty also sets up an onboarding campaign in order tu support prospective Ukrainian students.

For general information on the requirements you need to fulfill in order to study at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, please contact our international office. 

Our Center for Languages and Intercultural Communication offers language classes (German as a foreign language) in order to prepare you for your studies or to help you to improve your language skills while you are studying.

Tutors for degree students („Auslandstutoren“)

Our tutors are students at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences themselves and are available for degree students as personal contacts at the faculties. They support degree students at the start of and during their studies.

Every summer semester, our WIR project organizes a guided live application during which every step is gone through live with you. Continue to the WIR website (in German).

Foreign qualifications 

Uni-assists is responsible to check whether non-German degrees are equivalent to German degrees.

This check can be offered free of charge to refugees.
