During the two test migrations, data from the old system will be transferred to the new system (which is still in the test phase). This will allow configuration errors, data losses, and mapping inaccuracies to be identified and corrected before the move to the new live system takes place.

These test migrations will not affect library use. However, many people will be working in the background to prepare and process large amounts of data. This may result in delays in responding to inquiries by email or telephone.

• The first service restrictions are coming into effect.
• Interlibrary loan orders are expected to be unavailable at the THA from May until the end of June.
  
  •  Instead, you can use the Augsburg University Library (UBA) for interlibrary loans. 
  • To do so, have your Campus Card Augsburg activated at UBA: Please register with your CCA and your ID card at the information desk of the University Central Library (map). The online registration form can be filled out in advance or on site; please note the opening hours of the information desk. 
  • Once your CCA has been registered at the UBA, you can place interlibrary loan orders via the UBA catalogue.
  • You can find the UBA interlibrary loan instructions here. To log in to the UBA catalog, use your THA library number (00600...) and your 4-digit date of birth (DDMM).

• No loans/returns are possible. 
• The acquisition system will be “frozen.” No orders/new acquisitions are possible. We will fulfill your book requests as soon as our new library system, folio, is actively in use. 
• Temporarily, no new library cards can be issued to external users.
• The new library catalogue will be unavailable or only partially available (searches possible, but no availability checks/account functions) for a few days.
