The Games Department of the University of Lancashire have invited a group of six German design students to meet British students and to work on game projects.→

»I wanted to explore the ways, in which serendipity could be included within a design«, said Assistant Professor Burcu Dündar Venner from Mimar Sinan Academy of Fine Arts when she came to Augsburg to present her typefaces. In a stunning exhibition students could see how she created typographic patterns by stitching and embroidering.→

Does the colour red trigger the same association to Europeans as to Asians? Are symbols, ritulas, gestures still deeply rooted in a country’s culture or are they becoming more and more international? And what does that mean for a design process? These vibrant questions have been investigated by a German-Korean Workshop at the Faculty.→
