The students meet in small groups on Zoom and work over a period of five weeks on tasks that have been jointly developed by the lecturers of the participating universities. Topics include cultural education and communication as well as corporate culture in different countries.
This trains communication skills and sharpens students' awareness of intercultural issues and English as a lingua franca. Students gain insights into a new culture and often consciously engage with their own culture for the first time.
The project is organized and supervised by Professor Alice Gruber, Faculty of Applied Humanities and Natural Sciences (Center for Languages and Intercultural Communication) and Faculty of Economics.
