The Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg is committed to making its offerings accessible in accordance with the Bavarian Digital Accessibility Ordinance (BayDiV). This accessibility statement applies to the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg website, including its associated subdomains and the digital content and applications provided there.

Partially compliant: The website partially meets the accessibility requirements set forth in § 9 of the Bavarian Disability Ordinance (BayDiV) in conjunction with the BITV 2.0.

Content that is not accessible:

• Some images and graphic elements lack alternative descriptions, or the descriptions provided are not sufficiently descriptive.
• Some decorative images are not consistently labeled as decorative.
• Some interactive icon elements lack a sufficiently accessible description of their function.
• Some list-like presentations are not technically implemented as lists.
• There may be errors in the content hierarchy and semantic structure.
• The heading hierarchy is not consistently followed in some cases.
• The interactive element “Find Your Degree Program” is currently not fully accessible. Button states, process steps, and status changes are not always adequately communicated to users of assistive technologies.
• Some personal data input fields lack appropriate autocomplete attributes, which makes automatic filling difficult.
• Not all documents are available in an accessible version.
• Where possible, we supplement maps used for directions with written directions.
• Some of our videos lack captions and/or audio descriptions.

Reason:

As a university, we maintain a very extensive and diverse website; therefore, errors cannot be entirely avoided.

This application is fully compliant with Section 9 of the Bavarian Digital Accessibility Ordinance (BayDiV).

In isolated cases, some features of the application are not fully accessible. These are listed in the provider’s English-language accessibility information. Since these features are not strictly necessary for the functional use of the application, the application complies with § 1 BayEGovV.
