Get to Know Our College: Open House Events for Academic and Career Guidance
What can I study at the university? What topics will I explore during my studies? What does application- and practice-oriented learning mean? What research and practical projects are carried out at the university?
Your students will get answers to all these questions and gain firsthand insights during the study and career orientation days!
- College Orientation Day, held once a year for prospective students and applicants
- Girls’ Day / Boys! Day, held once a year for students in grades 7 through 9
- Taster Program, held once a year for students in 10th grade and above

Our events can usually be attended by entire school classes; otherwise, please excuse your students from class. Contests and Challenges: Hands-On STEM

The popular IT security event organized by THA_innos, the Institute for Innovative Security at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, kicks off every February and invites students from all over Bavaria to solve virtual IT puzzles and, in this way, engage with the topic of IT security in a fun and interactive way.
Students of all grade levels and school types are eligible to participate, and there is no cost to join. An interest in computer science and a willingness to tackle puzzles are key requirements. Essentially, the goal is to really dig into the challenges and discover just how much fun IT security topics can be.
Small groups and extracurricular clubs can also participate. Every year, several hundred participants register, including a large number of teams.
