Seminar on "University Teaching Methods" for doctoral students
Dear doctoral candidates,
On February 11, 2027 (8:30 a.m.–5:45 p.m.) and February 12, 2027 (1:30–5:30 p.m.), the THA Graduate School is offering a two-day online seminar on “University Teaching Methods for Doctoral Students.” There will also be a self-study phase between the two sessions. Your instructor will be Professor Martina Königbauer.
We cordially invite you to register. Participation is free of charge.
For doctoral candidates in the structured doctoral program offered by the doctoral centers, attending this seminar fulfills the mandatory requirement for the academic qualification course on university teaching pedagogy. The seminar is offered regularly during the winter semester.

Your THA Graduate School
In this seminar, you as participants will be actively involved and will learn about pedagogical elements by applying them yourselves. You’ll also receive many practical tips that you can immediately put into practice in your courses. You’ll reflect on your role as an instructor, formulate learning objectives, exchange ideas on topics related to teaching, and discuss the possibilities of digitalization in teaching.
