What should you know before starting a data science degree in Augsburg? What’s expected of you, and what can you expect? Caro, Stefan, and Wolfgang ponder these questions out loud as they take their camera not only through their university but all over Augsburg. Over a slice of Zwetschgendatschi at the “Lug ins Land” beer garden, they come to the conclusion that the train to Munich isn’t important and that people from Augsburg are, at heart, friendly. And right at the end, they answer the crucial question: Would you recommend this degree program to your own children?

Caro, Stefan, and Wolfgang have been math professors for many years and share a passion project close to their hearts.

The Data Science program, which launched in October 2022 at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. They love teaching and sharing their knowledge. In the video, they explain why they founded the Data Science program, why there are so many female data scientists, and which of the three decides how warm it is in the office.
