Funkenwerk Community Meetup 2026

On Thursday, October 29, 2026, Funkenwerk at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg invites you to the Funkenwerk Community Meetup. Together with students, founders, alumni, companies, and partners from the region, we’ll celebrate the innovative spirit of our universities.
A highlight of the evening will be the ceremonial presentation of the 2026 Funkenwerk Award, powered by LEW. The best teams from the Bavarian-Swabian University Consortium will present their ideas live to an audience and a jury. The event is held under the patronage of Bavaria’s Minister of State for Digital Affairs, Dr. Fabian Mehring.
Discover projects, startups, and new ideas
Even before the awards ceremony, you'll have the chance to learn about innovative projects and startup initiatives. In Foyer M, young teams will present their ideas, prototypes, and developments.
Among other things, you can look forward to:
- Startups and teams from the Funkenwerk Incubator
- Female founders from HerVenture and EXIST-Women
- Winning teams from the Bavarian Film and Television Fund
- Alumni startups from Augsburg University of Applied Sciences
- Innovative projects from academia, research, and the startup scene
