The Technology Transfer Center (TTZ) at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg (THA) in Landsberg am Lech specializes in data science and autonomous systems. Here, academic excellence meets the expertise of Bavarian small and medium-sized enterprises. Working closely together, researchers and industry partners develop innovative solutions for real-world business needs. The goal: to make a key contribution to the future viability of companies and to securing a skilled workforce. The solutions developed at the TTZ Landsberg am Lech are immediately applied in companies and in R&D projects. Study programs and continuing education offerings are also part of the TTZ Landsberg am Lech’s portfolio.

The TTZ Data Science and Autonomous Systems has two locations in Landsberg am Lech—first, the TTZ experimental facility in the research hall at the Industrial MakerSpace in the “Am Penzinger Feld” industrial park and, secondly, the TTZ “Am Papierbach” location in the new urban district, which features well-equipped seminar rooms that facilitate hybrid teaching formats.

The TTZ Data Science and Autonomous Systems in Landsberg am Lech was established in 2023. It is funded as part of the Free State of Bavaria’s High-Tech Agenda Bavaria, as well as by the district and the city of Landsberg am Lech.
