Bachelor Programs with Admission Restrictions

In bachelor programs with limited enrollment (so-called “NC” programs), the number of applications is expected to exceed the number of available spots. Therefore, the grade point average on your high school diploma is the deciding factor in whether or not you will be offered a spot. Admission to bachelor programs with limited enrollment is handled exclusively through the Dialog-Oriented Service Procedure (DoSV) of the Foundation for University Admissions. Applications can only be submitted online.

Bachelor’s Programs with Admission Restrictions

The next application period for the 2027/2028 winter semester runs from April 30, 2027, to July 15, 2027.

NC Values

In bachelor’s degree programs with limited enrollment, the number of applications is generally expected to exceed the number of available spots. The required grade point average and the waiting time for a spot are recalculated for each admission period. The NC value is always the cutoff grade of the last applicant admitted. Previous years’ figures are provided for reference only and do not constitute a binding statement regarding the current admissions process.

Augsburg University of Applied Sciences allocates study places as follows, after deducting the quotas for early-admission applicants, international students, hardship cases, second-degree students, professionally qualified applicants, and consortium students:

  • 30% based on academic merit (selection based on the average grade on the high school diploma),
  • 70% in the supplementary university selection process based on the average grade.

Below you will find admission cutoff scores from previous years’ application processes.
