Our Programs for Students

The School of Business offers a range of events and introductory opportunities for schools. Whether it’s Boys’ Day, a trial study program, a school outreach event, or a visit to the annual College Fair at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, there are many ways to get to know us. We can also arrange customized workshops and visits, such as a presentation during a school’s career orientation day. Students are welcome to contact us on their own initiative, and we also look forward to hearing from schools and teachers.

College Orientation Day

Get a taste of THA and get advice on campus: At the Study Orientation Day at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences (THA), high school students, prospective students, and parents can get a taste of THA life on campus and learn about the programs offered by THA. The School of Business has a general information booth in the Alte Mensa every year and offers information booths, presentations on degree programs, and hands-on activities in the W Building. The Study Orientation Day takes place annually in the spring (March/April). The current dates will be listed in advance on our events page.

Boys’ Day: Hands-On College Majors

The School of Business regularly participates in the nationwide Boys’ Day and offers boys in grades 7 through 9 exciting opportunities for career and academic exploration. Under the motto “Hands-On Degree Programs,” participants gain practical insight into degree programs and career fields that are traditionally chosen more often by women. Among other things, they learn about degree programs such as Digital Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, and Business Psychology, and discover the diverse career prospects offered by vocational training or a degree in these fields.

A special highlight is the joint workshop with THA Funkenwerk: Here, participants can get creative, develop their own ideas, and launch their own startup. In this way, they experience how an initial business idea can evolve into a concrete concept—and, along the way, how diverse and exciting the world of business is. Boys’Day thus offers the opportunity to learn about new career paths, discover personal interests, and gain initial insights into the world of higher education.

Every year, we look forward to welcoming curious young people to the School of Business on Boys’ Day!
