Augsburg University of Applied Sciences has structured its academic focus around four pillars: engineering, business, design, and social sciences. Regional, national, and global challenges of our time play a major role in teaching and applied research. Across all seven faculties, researchers are developing solutions for critical issues of the future—ranging from energy-efficient planning and construction and autonomous driving, to artificial intelligence and social work, all the way to data security, renewable energy, and the optimization of production processes.
