"Near and Far" Architecture Lectures to Begin in the 2026–27 Winter Semester

After a hiatus of several years, the “Architecture Lectures” series is returning to the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg. Under the title “Near and Far,” the series will bring together renowned architects, recent award winners, and experts from the fields of research, professional practice, and building culture during the 2026–27 winter semester.

Alumni Profile: Michelle Weck

“The interplay of design, technology, and the environment gives rise to sustainable solutions with a future.” Second installment of our E2D Alumni Series: Michelle Weck came to Augsburg from the field of landscape architecture, earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees here, and is now overseeing the creation of a sustainable pavilion for the Bavarian State Office for the Environment—from the first sketch to its reuse at a new location.
