The research profile of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg serves as a showcase for THA research and forms the basis for innovation and practical relevance.

Research activities are currently organized around two thematic research areas. In collaboration with industry partners, THA researchers address current issues and jointly develop innovative solutions through research projects at the respective THA research facilities—including the institutes, laboratories, model factories, and technology transfer centers.
