Erasmus+ (2021-2027)

Erasmus is the world’s largest and most successful exchange programme and is co-funded by the European Union. Since its launch in 1987, Erasmus has promoted cross-border mobility and has supported more than four million students and over 500,000 lecturers and university staff across Europe.

During the seven-year period of the previous Erasmus+ programme generation (2014–2021), the International Office at Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg (THA) supported more than 1,500 students with a total budget of almost €3 million. Erasmus projects therefore remain a key pillar of mobility and internationalisation at THA. The Erasmus+ programme generation places a particular focus on inclusion, environmental sustainability and digital transformation.

Thanks to its successfully awarded Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), THA can participate in the following Erasmus+ actions until 2027:

These projects focus on cooperation with higher education institutions, companies and other organisations. Applications can be submitted for the following project types:

• Cooperation Partnerships and Partnerships for the Exchange of Good Practices
• Partnerships for Innovation

These projects are generally initiated by individual faculty members. If you have any questions about the application process or require advice on preparing your application, please contact the director of the International Office.

Partnerships for Excellence – European Universities

The European Universities project track is a strategic, university-wide initiative. Individual applications are therefore not possible.
