Model Factories

Model factories provide testing environments. They offer versatile research and learning environments for companies, future professionals, and schools. The model factories at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg provide opportunities to develop, demonstrate, and evaluate innovative processes and prototypes. Students and professionals acquire the skills of tomorrow through hands-on experience there. Workshops are offered for high school students.

The concept of the model factories was initiated by researchers and partners in the AI Production Network at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg (THA). The THA’s model factories are funded as part of the Free State of Bavaria’s High-Tech Agenda Plus.
