Research at the Faculty of Computer Science

The Faculty of Computer Science at Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg is a research-intensive school with numerous research projects, diverse collaborative partnerships, ongoing doctoral studies, and high-caliber scientific publications.

With its five research areas, the faculty focuses on key future topics in computer science and combines interdisciplinary expertise with application-oriented research. These research areas are embedded within the overarching research focus “Networked Intelligence, Autonomy, and Security” at Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg. Together with partners from academia, industry, public institutions, and society, the faculty develops innovative technologies and solutions for current and future challenges.

The faculty is also prominently represented in the DigiTech Doctoral Center and offers early-career researchers a structured environment for their doctoral studies.
