About the Lab

At THA_innolab, students work together with external partners in interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions to current issues in digitalization. Using agile methods, they develop functional prototypes that can be tested in their respective contexts. The lab is used for semester projects, master’s theses, student research projects, and research initiatives.

The topics covered are very broad, ranging from AI-assisted sorting of used clothing to machine learning projects in healthcare, augmented reality assistance systems in manufacturing, and a chatbot for the city of Augsburg.
