Professional Management in the Health and Social Services Sector

Professional management is essential everywhere. In the health and social services sector, this is compounded by the fact that staff are both the decisive cost factor and the key competitive advantage.

In times of scarce resources and increasingly demanding professional and administrative requirements, economic thinking and action have become a matter of survival for the healthcare sector and social organizations. Business management expertise and management knowledge are therefore essential for successful operations.

In addition to their specialized expertise, professionals and managers increasingly need know-how regarding business strategies, concepts, methods, and tools. Only in this way can they design work processes more effectively and efficiently, successfully implement and improve them, and ensure the quality and performance of their organization. Furthermore, the foreseeable changes brought about by increasing digitalization require management competence and a willingness to embrace change.

In this certificate program, you will acquire management expertise and a solid foundation in business administration. You can immediately apply this knowledge in your professional practice, thereby gaining further competencies and ensuring the transfer of knowledge.

Here you will find the study and examination regulations for the Master’s program in Sustainability Management: SPO.

Benjamin Noll

We learned about the certificate program through a recommendation. We chose it because we hoped that the knowledge taught by a college would be of a high standard and up to date. That hope was fully realized.

Maša Grahovac

In my role as a specialist consultant, I was able to further develop our company’s onboarding process and create a concrete training plan, which allowed us to pass on our existing knowledge to new hires in a structured way and make the onboarding process more efficient.
