Division III.2 – Central Student Advising & Career Service
The Central Student Advising Office supports prospective students and current students with questions about their studies and academic progress. The Career Service helps students transition into the professional world and offers, among other things, counseling, job application training, and opportunities to network with the professional community.
Central Student Advising Office (ZSB)
The ZSB provides support for any uncertainties related to academic life and is there to assist you both before and throughout your entire course of study.
Advising at Every Stage of Your Studies
- Orientation Counseling – Guidance through the process of choosing a major; counseling for high school students, prospective students, parents, and teachers, as well as those with vocational qualifications and applicants to dual-track degree programs; information on early-entry study programs
- Admission Counseling – Assistance with questions regarding applications, admission, enrollment, and starting your studies at THA
- Student Counseling – Support with questions regarding academic planning, exam management, changing majors, and transferring to another institution; orientation counseling for students experiencing doubts about their studies or considering dropping out; financial aid counseling, scholarship counseling, and counseling for students with disabilities
- Psychosocial Counseling – A resource for crises and problems related to your studies
- Graduation Coaching – Support for the transition from college to a career, and advice on graduate programs

The Career Service serves as the bridge between academic studies and the professional world and provides students with comprehensive support on all career-related topics.
