You can find us on the Brunnenlech campus in Building A—Room A 1.03c (ground floor, accessible via the parking lot/courtyard in front of Buildings A and B, near the mailroom).

As the Central Student Advising Office, we provide information, guidance, and support to students and prospective students regarding all questions and concerns related to choosing a major, admission, and the start of their studies, as well as throughout their entire academic career.
Advising Throughout All Phases of Your Academic Career
- Orientation Counseling – Guidance through the process of choosing a major; counseling for high school students, prospective students, parents, and teachers, as well as applicants with professional qualifications and those in dual study programs; information about higher education, individual degree programs, and early-entry study programs
- Admission Counseling – Assistance with questions regarding applications, admission, enrollment, and starting your studies at THA
- Advising for Students – Support with questions regarding academic planning, exam management, changing majors or universities, graduation, and withdrawal; orientation counseling for students experiencing doubts about their studies or considering dropping out; financial aid for studies, scholarship counseling; counseling for students with disabilities
- Psychosocial Counseling – A resource for crises and problems related to your studies
- Graduation Coaching – Support for the transition from college to a career; counseling on further academic programs
We provide you with information and/or help you find the right contact person for your questions and concerns. We offer advice in the best interests of those seeking guidance—in a neutral, non-judgmental, confidential, and free-of-charge manner.
