Connecting a Network Drive in Windows

Here’s how to map your personal network drive on rzhome.hs-augsburg.de in Windows:

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open File Explorer or “This PC.”
2. From the menu at the top, select: 
   “Computer” → “Map Network Drive”
3. Under “Folder,” enter the following address: \\rzhome.hs-augsburg.de\your-username

4. Check the box next to:

   “Connect using different credentials”

5. Then click “Finish.”

Enter your username followed by this suffix: benutzername@rz.hs-augsburg.de

Then enter your personal password.

 

Important Note

Access to the network drive is only available within the university network.

If you are outside the university (e.g., at home), you must first establish an active OpenVPN connection.
