Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Education

 

Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Education is the successor to Microsoft Imagine (formerly DreamSpark).

Students, staff, and faculty at the university can use and download various Microsoft products and developer tools for free through this program. These include, among other things, operating systems and software for development and education.

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching

Log in there using “Sign In.” To log in, you’ll need your university email address and the password for your IT ID.

 

Important

You need a Microsoft account to use Azure Dev Tools.

Please use the same Microsoft account that you use for Microsoft 365 under the campus agreement.

Please note

  • Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Education is provided and operated entirely by Microsoft.
  • Access is provided directly by Microsoft and is subject to the applicable license and terms of use.
  • The provided software may be used exclusively for educational, teaching, and learning purposes.
  • Commercial use is not permitted.
  • Additional paid services may be offered through the Azure platform.
  • Any costs incurred must be borne by the users themselves.
  • If you encounter technical issues, please contact Microsoft Support directly.

Note

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is not included in Azure Dev Tools for Education.

However, students and staff can use Microsoft 365 for free on personal devices as part of the Microsoft Campus Agreement.

Alternatively, the following Office suites are available:
