Architecture Lectures – Gesche Bengtsson | et al. Architects

Over Time
Under the title “Over Time”, Gesche Bengtsson provides insights into current projects and explores questions of durability, adaptability, and the responsible transformation of existing buildings.
This lecture will be held in German.
The Munich-based firm etal. ArchitektInnen was founded in 2021 by Gesche Bengtsson, Elena Masla, and Zora Syren and has quickly made a name for itself with a clear commitment to building on existing structures, conserving resources in the use of existing buildings, and creating resilient forms of housing. The firm’s work spans practice, research, and teaching, exploring how architecture can work with existing resources and enable long-term usability.
The firm received particular attention for its multigenerational house on Görzer Straße in Munich. The project was honored at the 2025 German Architecture Prize, among other accolades, and is among the finalists for the 2026 DAM Prize.
