Information for First-Year Students

Your timetable will show you rooms and times for each group of studies.

Changes in lectures and information regarding registration for modules and start dates of lab courses will also be posted there.

The arrangements for physical access control are described in detail on the website of the Central IT. There, you can also find links to a page that allows you to access the physical access authorisations for your specific Campus Card. You can also find information on requesting access outside the default activated times.

Apart from the parking lot for students, there are public parking spaces near the University:

• Frischstraße - south of the train tracks, about 400m from the “Campus Brunnenlech”
• Spickelbad - by the Friedberger Straße, about 700m from the “Campus am Roten Tor”

We will inform you mostly via the website, but also in information events or via e-mail about topics relevant to your studies.

However, as part of your duty to collaborate ("Mitwirkungspflicht"), you are responsible for obtaining the necessary information about module/lecture registration, exam registration, exam dates, permitted aids, re-enrollment deadlines, etc. Getting informed is your responsibility!

If you have any questions or come across inconsistencies, please feel free to contact the respective contact person.

A lot of information, e.g. from the moodle learning platform or queries regarding applications to the examination board will be sent to your University e-mail address (usually name.surname@tha.de). Therefore, it is absolutely essential for you to regulary check your e-mails to this address or to set up forwarding to another address you check more regulary.
