Economist of Health and Social Care (Certificate)
Professional Management in the Health and Social Services Sector
Professional management is essential everywhere. In the health and social services sector, staff are not only the decisive cost factor but also the key competitive factor.
In times of scarce resources and increasingly demanding professional and administrative requirements, economic thinking and action have become a matter of survival for the healthcare sector and social organizations. Business management expertise and management knowledge are therefore essential for successful operations.
In addition to their specialized expertise, professionals and managers increasingly need know-how regarding business strategies, concepts, methods, and tools. Only in this way can they design work processes more effectively and efficiently, successfully implement and improve them, and ensure the quality and performance of their organization. Furthermore, the foreseeable changes brought about by increasing digitalization require management competence and a willingness to embrace change.
In this certificate program, you will acquire management expertise and a solid foundation in business administration. You can immediately apply this knowledge in your professional work, thereby gaining further skills and ensuring the transfer of knowledge.
