Susanne Gampfer was appointed to Augsburg University of Applied Sciences in 2011. As a professor of Building Construction with a focus on Building Materials Science—Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainability of Building Materials and Structures—she teaches in the E2D, Civil Engineering, and Architecture programs at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. After studying architecture from 1984 to 1991 at the Technical University of Munich and the University of Bath in southern England, she earned her diploma from the Technical University of Munich. Starting in 1991, she worked at various architectural firms as an architect and project manager, responsible for planning, bidding, and construction. From 2002 to 2011, Susanne Gampfer worked at the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich.
